Luckily we have quite a few tea rooms in the Niagara Region, each one different from the next, and all of them are worth trying! It’s hard to pick a favourite – which tea room will be yours?

So, grab your teacup and join me as I uncover the best spots for afternoon tea in Niagara!

1. The Watering Can

The Watering Can in Vineland offers a spectacular afternoon tea. Nestled amongst a lush tropical setting, it’s aptly named their Tropical Garden Tea. Their enchanting afternoon tea experience combines creativity and plants with whimsical mismatched furniture and china teacups and saucers!

The baked goods and savoury treats are delicious. We ended up taking ours home because there was so much food! You can also get a refill on your tea.

There are seasonal and themed afternoon teas periodically throughout the year. We loved the Winter Garden Experience during the holidays.

Price: $44 per person (gluten free & vegan options available for $49). Prince or Princess tea offered for children ages 3-10 for $22.
Hours: Monday – Saturday 11:00 am – 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm- 2:30 pm, and 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

2. Prince of Wales

If you want to feel like royalty when you’re enjoying your afternoon tea, the Prince of Wales is a perfect luxurious option. Set on historic Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this afternoon tea is set in their heritage Drawing Room.

With crisp white linens and a light and airy setting with ornate and antique decor, this is one of my favourite places to go. Gorgeous pastries, finger sandwiches, scones and decadent tea make for a sumptuous experience, and you can add a glass of champagne if you wish (we certainly did)!

It’s the perfect space for celebrations, bridal showers, mother-daughter getaways, or just because!

There are a few different afternoon tea packages available to pick from, including the His Royal Highness tea which includes charcuterie, cheese, and scotch.

3. The Fox & Hummingbird

The Fox & Hummingbird is a charming Victorian tea room in the heart of Welland. Their traditional afternoon tea offers a pot of tea and a three-tier stand filled with delicious finger sandwiches, house made sweets, and delicate pastries.

Price: Afternoon tea packages starting from $49.50/person. You can also opt for an Afternoon Tea Package for 2 (after 4:00 pm) for $74.50/two guests or their elaborate Grand Victoria Experience for $75/person which includes a comedy performance, guided tour through 12 Victorian exhibits, plus a Victorian craft.

4. Tay’s Treats

Tay’s Treats in Vineland is a regular spot of ours! This adorable pink bake shop is like stepping into a doll house or a fairy tale – it’s all pink from inside out.

Tay’s Treats has a charming afternoon tea which includes delicious pastries, sandwiches, and scones in a quiet setting. It’s a fantastic option for those who don’t want the busyness of other afternoon tea rooms. It’s super cute and makes for great photo options.

Price: $39.99/person. (Vegan & gluten free offered for an additional $5/person). Prince and Princess tea available for $24.99.

5. The Brock Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel

As the ONLY Fallsview afternoon tea in Niagara Falls, the Brock Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel is the newest offering in the Niagara Region!

Located on the 10th floor, you’ll be able to soak in breathtaking views of Niagara Falls as you treat yourself to a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, and premium teas. Choose from two menus (which sound AMAZING with offerings including lobster rolls, smoked salmon, and deconstructed Beef Wellington!)

This is truly a memorable experience if you’re planning a visit to Niagara Falls, whether it’s celebrating one of life’s biggest moments or just enjoying a relaxing afternoon with incredible views.

Price: $63/adult, $29/children
Hours: Daily with seatings from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

6. McFarland House

A beautiful setting for afternoon tea in Niagara is at the historic McFarland House in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Set in a glass-enclosed room, you’ll enjoy delicate pastries and savoury treats and a selection of local tea.

You can enhance your afternoon tea with a glass of champagne if you wish. The views from the tea room are beautiful and overlook McFarland Park. 

This heritage property played a prominent role during the War of 1812 as a military hospital used by both the British and the Americans. It remains as one of the very few buildings that predates the war. I recommend taking a tour of McFarland House when you visit to complete your experience, or take a walk through the park.

Price: From $39.95/person. Afternoon tea for children available for $24.95/person.

7. Tea on West

Tea on West (formerly Tea on 3) is the perfect quiet setting to go to enjoy an afternoon tea away from the hubbub of the cities. With a three-tiered array of treats includes unique offerings like Yorkshire pudding and crepes amongst traditional tea offerings.

Price: Afternoon Tea $45/person. Tiny tea priced at $25.
Hours: Wednesday – Monday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Reservations required.

8. Hob Nob Restaurant & Wine Bar

Hob Nob Restaurant & Wine Bar is one of the newest places offering Afternoon Tea, and if you haven’t visited this restaurant yet, it’s gorgeous!

Served in the formal dining room, HobNob offers a premium selection of teas sourced from their Tea Sommelier paired with delicious sandwiches, baked treats, and scons prepared in-house by their Pastry Chef.

Choose from a traditional afternoon tea, or enhance your experience with a handcrafted cocktail, selection of local and international cheese, or a Governer’s tea with cheese and charcuterie, pickles preserves, crackers, and a glass of sparkling wine (I know my husband would love this!).

Price: Traditional Afternoon Tea from $55/person. Little Royal-tea priced at $28/children under 12.

9. Campden General Store

Don’t let the name fool you – inside the Campden General Store is an amazing little bake shop that offers Afternoon Tea!

Enjoy seasonal fruit, butter tarts, cookies, tea sandwiches and scones all while sipping tea in a unique, cozy environment.

Browse through the store afterwards – it’s not your typical general store! You’ll find great gifts from local vendors like local preserves, gift baskets, and sweet treats.

Price: $35 for High Tea, $30 for Afternoon Tea, and $25 for Prince & Princess Tea.
Hours: Open daily 8 am – 8 pm, reservations required at least 24 hours in advance.

10. The Savoy Room

Savoy Room in St. Catharines is an excellent afternoon tea option in the Niagara Region. With an elegant Victorian atmosphere, fine bone china and linen, an assortment of savoury and sweet treats, the Savoy Room promises a traditional afternoon tea experience! 

Price: $42/person. Vegan and Gluten-Free Afternoon Tea offered for $50/person.
Hours: Thursday – Sunday 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm by reservation at least 48 hours in advance.

11. Penelope’s Palace

The newest tea room in Niagara to join the roster of charming places to go for afternoon tea is Penelope’s Palace in Ridgeville!

This adorable place is adorned with a vintage vibe in a cozy, airy setting. With freshly baked goods and aromatic teas, it’s the ideal tranquil spot to enjoy a cup of tea and get together with friends.

Price: $55/adult, $25 children ages 3-10
Hours: Monday-Friday at 11:00 – 12:30 by reservation at least 24 hours in advance.

As a brunch enthusiast (because who doesn’t love a mid-morning feast?) I’ve scouted out the best places in town to enjoy everything from comfort classics to elevated dining experiences. Whether you’re brunching with friends, family, or just treating yourself, these spots will have you savouring every bite. 

Get ready to explore Lincoln’s hidden gems that serve up brunch with a side of cozy charm! 

1. Revalee Brunch Cafe 

Revalee Brunch Cafe is one of my favourite places to go for brunch in Lincoln! Located in Vineland, this charming cafe offers delicious brunch menu items. There’s even an entire vegan menu! I tend to visit a few times every year just for their french toast, which changes with the local fruit that’s in season!

There’s a nice selection of hot and cold caffeinated drinks and teas, fresh-press juices, Caesars, and awesome mimosas, cocktails, and beer.

I highly recommend making reservations well in advance, since this is a really popular spot to visit especially on weekends. During the summer there’s a patio outside to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

2. August Restaurant

August Restaurant has made its name known in Beamsville over the years. This is a relaxed place that’s popular for weekend brunch. You’ll find unique menu items like breakfast gnocchi along with elevated classics like french toast and eggs served in a variety of ways.

If none of those options appeal to you, you can pick from their all-day menu (their crispy duck rolls are my favourite)!

I recommend making reservations since it can be quite a happening place on weekends. The owners of August Restaurant also own Smoke & Moonshine across the street, along with You Had Me At Pizza in Grimsby.

3. Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery

For an elevated brunch experience, check out Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery. Set in an old home built in 1885, it has such a peaceful and relaxing environment that’s paired with delicious brunch menu items.

The menu is on the smaller side, but don’t let that deter you! From seasonal salads to lobster eggs benedict and  a tasty monte cristo sandwich with maple butter, you’ll be hard-pressed to make a choice.

We opted for the sparkling wine when we went, because what pairs better than that for brunch? During the summer you can sit and enjoy the patio. You’ll find great views of the surrounding vineyards and of Lake Ontario.

4. Conversations Cafe

Conversations Cafe is where you’ll find a lot of locals hanging out on weekends since it’s walkable within Beamsville.

With a great summer patio and cozy interior, Conversations offers an extensive list of hold and cold drinks, baked goods, and seasonal menu items, including an all-day breakfast menu. Gluten free items are available as well as dairy-free milk options.

Reservations are accepted on weekends. Plus, you can feel good about having brunch here since your food purchases go towards Convos Youth Zone, a registered charity in the space below Conversations Cafe where youth can hangout during the week in a safe space with friends and take part in interactive programming. 

5. RPM Bakehouse

Located in quaint Jordan Village, RPM Bakehouse is a stunning place to go for brunch. Featuring artisanal baked goods, coffee beans from Canadian suppliers, and an ever-changing menu of locally sourced seasonal ingredients, it’s a peaceful place to enjoy brunch.

The interior is stunning, with the ceiling filled with dried flowers, and during the summer there’s an outdoor patio. Plus, if you didn’t know, RPM is part of Pearl Morisette Winery and Restaurant!

It’s important to note that they operate by walk-in only.

6. Penny’s Kitchen Diner & Coffee House

One thing I was so happy to see in Lincoln was a proper breakfast spot where you can find all the comforting classics of a typical breakfast diner. Penny’s Kitchen is a relative newcomer to the area, and they’ve gathered quite a following.

Located across from Tay’s Treats in Vineland, you’ll find everything from breakfast plates with bacon and eggs, french toast, pancakes and waffles, omelettes, bagels, bowls and more! This cute little diner has friendly service and a charming atmosphere that you’d expect to find in a small town.

7. Newark Brewing Company

A fantastic brunch addition to Lincoln is Newark Brewing Company in Beamsville. Offered Sunday mornings, you’ll find comfort classics like Welsh rarebit, breakfast tacos, shakshuka, chicken and waffles, and more!

The ambience is cozy, comfy, and relaxed, making this the ideal spot for a lazy Sunday feast – and their beer is pretty awesome, too!

8. Megalomaniac Winery

​Perched atop the Niagara Escarpment, Megalomaniac Winery offers a brunch experience that combines culinary artistry with breathtaking vineyard views. This is one of my favourite winery views in the region!

The menu is crafted by Revalee (so you know it’s going to be good!) and featuresa rotating seasonal menu complemented by signature sparkling wine cocktails such as mimosas and bellinis .

The all-weather glassed-in patio provides a cozy setting year-round, or you can dine on the outdoor terrace in the nicer weather. On clear days you can have incredible views of Lake Ontario and the escarpment. Megalomaniac is one of my top wineries; the service and wine is fantastic and the prices are reasonable!​

BUT! Here’s the good news: if you step a little off the beaten path (or just know where to look), there are some seriously awesome spots where you can eat well without spending a fortune.

Visiting Niagara Falls on a budget doesn’t have to end at exploring the free attractions. Whether you’re fueling up before a day of sightseeing or looking for a hidden gem locals love, this list has you covered. Here are my top picks for where to eat on a budget in Niagara Falls!

1. Taps Brewhouse

Great beer, great eats, and great prices—what more do you need? Taps Brewhouse is one of our top favourite places to visit in Niagara Falls. They serve up delicious pub fare in generous portions (like amazing nachos and wraps) in a laid back atmosphere. 

Everything on their menu is priced at $20 or less, and the craft beer is brewed on-site (and is surprisingly affordable)! If you’re not into beer, they also have affordable cocktails, wine, mocktails, and even beer cocktails to try – all reasonably priced. With plenty vegan options available, it’s a great spot that offers something for everyone.  It’s also a hub for local entertainment, offering live music, open mic nights, and trivia.

During the summer you can grab a seat on their outdoor patio – a perfect way to soak in the sun after seeing the top sights in Niagara Falls.

2. Country Fresh Donuts

Don’t let the name fool you—this place is so much more than donuts (though those are fantastic too)! Country Fresh Donuts is a local go-to for the best wonton soup around and an absolute gem of a place. It’s been family run since 1991 and offers delicious bowls of soup and donuts at a price you won’t find – even at fast-food establishments.

Last I checked, a small wonton soup was $4.14 and a large (VERY generous sizing) was $8.18!!! 

The portions are more than worth what you pay for, and the service is always friendly. If you’re just after a snack, grab one of their fresh donuts—glazed, jelly-filled, or chocolate dipped—and a coffee for a few bucks. It’s casual, it’s cozy, and it’s a place you’ll want to visit again before leaving town.

3. Hi-Lite Restaurant

Hi-Lite Restaurant is a classic Canadian diner in all the best ways—no-nonsense, locally loved, and full of old-school charm that’s been in operation for over 90 years! The menu is packed with breakfast platters, home-style lunches, and daily specials, with prices that feel like they’ve barely changed since the ’80s. 

Breakfast here is legendary—especially the all-day breakfast combos that feel like a throwback to another era. It’s the kind of spot where you can get eggs, toast, bacon, and coffee for less than a fancy latte.

We’ve eaten here more times than I can count, and everything has always been spot on – to the service, food, and pricing. You’ll rarely spend more than $10–$15 for a full meal with coffee. It’s the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, the toast is always perfectly buttered, and the coffee refills are generous.

Hi-Lite Restaurant is closed on Sundays.

4. Chuck’s Roadhouse

A popular place to eat on a budget in Niagara Falls is Chuck’s Roadhouse. It’s known for one thing: delivering big portions and bold flavours at ridiculously good prices. Where else can you get a steak and lobster dinner for $25?! 

Their menu is a meat-lover’s dream, loaded with ribs, wings, burgers, and loaded nachos. But there’s something for everyone—including vegetarian-friendly options and a fun kids’ menu. There’s a huge menu with a ton of variety – and all the prices are incredibly affordable. It’s not just the price that makes Chuck’s worth visiting – the food is actually really good!

Daily drink specials and value deals (like 18 oz beers mixed drinks for $5 or $15 full racks of ribs on Wednesdays) make it easy to treat yourself without splurging. It’s a reliable option whether you’re heading out with the family, on a casual date night, or just need to satisfy a serious craving after exploring the Falls.

Dana and I LOVE Chuck’s – so if you’re wanting a satisfying meal without spending a ton, definitely add this place to your list.

5. Betty’s Restaurant

Betty’s Restaurant is a beloved local institution located just a few minutes outside the main tourist area—and it’s absolutely worth the short drive. This family-owned spot has been serving up homestyle meals for more than 50 years. The portions are huge (you might even have leftovers), and the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for what you get. 

Famous for their fish and chips, roast beef dinners (for $21.99!), and homemade pies, Betty’s is the place to go if you’re craving comfort food done right. It’s also popular with locals (especially those of an older generation), which is always a good sign you’re getting quality at a fair price. There are daily specials to pick from, too, and a kids menu, for even more added value.

It can get really busy here (especially with bus groups), so something to keep in mind! If you’re visiting as a large family of 8 or more, it’s best to reserve a table.

Be sure to save room for dessert – their pies are awesome!

6. Queen’s Coach Restaurant

Tucked away from the tourist traps, Queen’s Coach is one of those spots that’s been quietly winning over locals for years. Located in a charming old coach house, Queen’s Coach serves classic diner-style meals at prices that are hard to beat. 

It’s especially popular for breakfast and lunch, with a loyal local following. The food is hearty (and provides classic comfort staples), the service is friendly, and it feels like a hidden piece of Niagara hospitality. Prices are refreshingly low for such generous portions. It’s the kind of place where you can still grab a full breakfast and coffee for under $10.

There’s even an entire vegan menu with tons of options – making this a great spot to eat plant-based while you’re in the Falls!

It can get super busy here (understandably) and you may have to wait a bit, especially if you come mid-late morning on weekends, but service is quick so you shouldn’t be waiting long!

7. Flying Saucer Restaurant

Yes, it really does look like a UFO from the outside. And yes, it’s worth a visit. The Flying Saucer is known for its fun retro space-themed decor and budget-friendly menu that’s been serving affordable meals to locals and visitors for decades. 

It’s especially popular with families (my parents took us here as kids all the time!), but honestly, anyone who loves good food at a ‘down to earth’ price will enjoy it. 

The breakfast is a standout (the E.T. Special is a must for large appetites!), or grab their Galaxy Special from 6:00 am – 10:00 am for $7.99! The lunch and dinner menus also offer up favourites like burgers, seafood, steak and ribs, sandwiches, and classic milkshakes. The vibe is fun, the prices are low (especially for a themed place like this), and it’s a great family-friendly spot that kids will remember long after the trip.

8. Cheryl’s Deli & Subs

Cheryl’s Deli & Subs is one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it spots that locals love. It may not look flashy from the outside, but it’s full of small-town charm and touted as one of those places where the value is as good as the food, and is pretty much unanimously known as the place to get the best subs in Niagara.

The subs are massive, fresh, and loaded with toppings, and the prices are super reasonable. It’s a great place to grab something quick, filling, and made with care. Cheryl’s is truly a hidden gem in Niagara Falls for unbeatable prices.

9. Niko’s Place

If you’re craving a good old-fashioned burger and poutine combo, Niko’s Place is your new go-to. It’s a no-frills, takeout-style joint that’s all about big flavour and satisfying portions at prices that are hard to beat. 

Their hand-pressed burgers are juicy, their fries are perfectly crisp, and the gravy-smothered poutine is legit comfort food gold. They also serve hot dogs, fish and chips, and offer options for kids too – making it a great quick-stop eatery when you want something tasty without the wait—or the bill. Their portions are generous enough to split if you’re not starving (but you probably won’t want to).

10. CreekSides Ice Cream Parlour

Don’t be fooled by the name—while CreekSides Ice Cream Parlour does serve up amazing ice cream (and lots of it), they also offer affordable delicious subs in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 

Tucked in the quiet community of Chippawa (about a 7 minute drive from Table Rock Centre) Creeksides is a favourite for locals looking for a quick bite and a sweet treat. The subs are fresh, flavourful, and fully loaded—perfect for a casual lunch or dinner on the go. I recommend grabbing your food and heading to a picnic table along the Welland River, or if you’re visiting Niagara in the spring, head to Kingsbridge Park to see the cherry blossoms.

And then there’s the ice cream: dozens of flavours, classic cones, sundaes, and milkshakes that are perfect for cooling off after a hot summer day by the Falls. Great food, great value, and totally kid-approved!

11. Zappi’s Pizza

Zappi’s Pizza is a family-owned pizzeria that’s been serving up delicious Italian comfort food just steps from the Falls for decades. Known for its friendly service, generous portions, and homemade dishes made from scratch, Zappi’s is a favourite for locals and tourists. If Dana and I are craving pizza, this is our go-to spot!

Their pizzas are loaded with toppings and baked to perfection, and the pastas—especially the baked lasagna—are hearty and satisfying. You’ll also find fresh salads, subs, and garlic bread that’s worth visiting for. Or, if you aren’t up to dining in, they have awesome pizza and wing specials for takeout.

The prices are refreshingly fair for a tourist area (4 of us dined here WITH drinks for $100 -which honestly I didn’t think was bad!), making this a cozy and affordable spot to enjoy a casual Italian meal without the fuss.

Navigating Niagara tip: There is free parking on site, but the parking lot is small. If you time it right (outside of peak dining hours) you can easily find a spot. You can also walk here and take the Falls Incline Railway from the Table Rock Centre parking lot (if you already have parking and a Niagara Falls attraction pass which includes rides on the Falls Incline).

Dining in Niagara Falls on a Budget

You don’t have to empty your wallet to enjoy good food in Niagara Falls! From cozy diners and delis to classic pubs and quirky restaurants, there are plenty of delicious options that prove you can eat well on a budget.

Skip the overpriced chains near the Falls and check out one of these local favourites instead. Your stomach—and your bank account—will thank you.

I used to always think dining at wineries was really expensive, but it’s no different than going to a restaurant and oftentimes it’s more affordable! With a better ambiance, quality food, and great selection of local wines, there’s been little holding us back to get to as many as we can.

From wineries in Beamsville, Vineland, and Jordan, right to the edge of Lincoln, there are a ton of hidden gems with incredible food to try. Here’s my collection of some of my favourite winery restaurants in the Niagara Region, right in Lincoln!

1. Megalomaniac

Megalomaniac ranks right in the top of my favourite wineries in Lincoln. The views, food, service, and wine all come together to provide a beautiful experience in the heart of the Niagara Benchlands. I feel as though Megalomaniac has one of the best winery views around. Plus, this is a winery you can come to eat at year-round.

During the warmer months, there’s an expansive patio – much of it covered – providing sweeping views of the escarpment and Lake Ontario. During rainy days or chillier days, the indoor dining area is just as beautiful.

I’ve had a ton of items on their menu and everything has been amazing. I love their Sparkling Personality sparkling wine and we get that every time we go. Food is available a la carte during the day, and there is a prix fixe dinner available.

Navigating Niagara Tip: Dine at their restaurant then browse their wine shop! Show your restaurant receipt and save 10% on 2+ bottles (with a minimum $50 restaurant spend).

2. Vineland Estates

Vineland Estates Winery is another winery with a restaurant in Lincoln that I LOVE. It’s perfect for dates and special occasions, and has a beautiful ambience with quality food. We love opting for the wine pairings, but if that’s not your style you can order what you like.

Lunch is available a la carte (or just visit for some shareables!) and dinner is available a la carte or by a Chef’s Choice 5 course creative menu. Their summer patio is so relaxing, with views over the vineyard and to the forest. During rainy days or the cooler season, you can dine in the restored (and expanded) 1845 farmhouse. All of the meals have been so memorable here and this is one of the top places I recommend when people are looking for a winery date night.

Vineland Estates has a variety of wine experiences on offer, including dog-friendly experiences with a portion of the proceeds going towards our local SPCA! Don’t miss their wine shop where you can pick up lots of different wine and wine accessories.

Stonewall Estates is by far one of my favourite hidden gems we discovered this year after visiting during one of Niagara Grape and Wine Spring Sparkles event (highly recommend)! I can’t even begin to tell you how many people I’ve told about this place! 

This stunning winery is located right on the edge of Lincoln – bordering St. Catharines – down a dead-end road nestled in a pear orchard and on the banks of Sixteen Mile Pond. We’ve visited Stonewall Estates more than any other winery this year so far, and we can’t get enough! The restaurant has a delicious array of food on offer, and their chef is so passionate about what he creates. We had the chance to talk to him one day on a rainy Sunday morning, and he told us the veggies served are grown on the property – plus he pickles everything himself and it’s so good. 

Their outdoor patio is STUNNING but if it’s rainy or cold, their indoor dining area is just as draw-dropping. The decor is eclectic and ornate and reminiscent of a fairy tale. We enjoy all of their wine but our favourite is their sparkling rose!

Hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, Fridays-Saturdays 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

4. Redstone Winery

I was happy to revisit Redstone Winery after many years of not getting back there for a meal! Situated along King St in Beamsville, Red Stone is one of the more well-known wineries because of its location. Their restaurant is amazing and the floor to ceiling windows provide beautiful views of the vineyard. During the summer you can sit out and enjoy the patio and sunshine.

The menu is expansive with plenty of choices to appeal to all taste buds. We were obsessed with their summer burrata shareable with peaches and chillies – it was SO good. If you visit for lunch, you have the option of a $40 prix fixe menu for any soup or salad and pizza or pasta.

And, if you’re looking for a Friday date night idea, there’s a special every Friday for $119 for a meal for two, including a bottle of Riesling or Cab Merlot. Redstone’s menu changes seasonally too, so there’s bound to be something different on offer every time you visit.

5. Westcott Vineyards

Westcott Vineyards is located on the top of the escarpment in Lincoln. It’s a beautiful property that specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine. Their restaurant, The Patio is open seasonally from May – October, so don’t miss your chance to dine here when it’s open! 

Their menu changes frequently and focuses on fresh, local, and in-season ingredients. The dining area is covered from the elements, so come and enjoy a great meal and wine amongst the vineyard. You may even catch live music here on weekends. My favourite wine here is the Delphine Rose which pairs well with pretty much anything! And, if you visit during the summer it’s the perfect patio wine.

6. Peninsula Ridge

Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery is a gorgeous winery nestled on the edge of Beamsville. If you’ve driven around our famous roundabout, it’s the stunning vineyard and brick house nestled on the hill. The old 1885 home has been converted into Peninsula Ridge Estates’ restaurant and it offers a cozy experience and an elevated dining experience. It’s also an amazing place to go for brunch in Lincoln on Sundays.

Enjoy their patio during the summer months and soak in the amazing views of the Beamsville benchlands and over Lake Ontario to Toronto.

Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 5:00 pm – close

Brunch: Sundays 10:30 am – 3:00 pm

7. The Good Earth Food & Wine Co.

The Good Earth Food & Wine Co is a beautiful vineyard nestled right in Beamsville and offers a charming escape in the heart of Niagara wine country. The on-site Bistro offers an array of innovative farm-to-table dishes and uses produce grown on their own property. The outdoor dining area and patio is stunning during the warmer months as it’s surrounded by gardens and vineyards, but you can also dine here all-year round indoors.

Fun fact: You can join cooking glasses here at their cooking school! Each class has its own theme and the chef will prepare a four-course meal paired with wine. Classes only accommodate up to 10 people, so you’re guaranteed an intimate, fun, and educational experience!

Hours: Thursday – Saturday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, Sunday and Monday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

8. Ridgepoint Wines

Ridgepoint Wines is a great hidden gem nestled along the escarpment next to Megalomaniac. Family-owned and best known for its Italian-style reds, Ridgepoint offers a cozy dining experience at the Ridgepoint Kitchen. Enjoy farm-to-table Italian-inspired pizzas, pastas and shareables that showcase local, seasonal ingredients. Everyone raves about the wood-fired pizzas here – even staff from nearby wineries!

Enjoy indoor dining during the winter months or rainy days, and during the summer you can sit out and dine under their covered patio overlooking the vineyard.

9. 180 Estate Winery

180 Estate Winery is located just outside the charming town of Jordan Village and offers a delightful wine-tasting experience amidst stunning views of the Niagara Escarpment. Known for its boutique wines and warm hospitality, you’ll also find an on-site Bistro here.

There are plenty of shareables and a few mains to choose from, but we particularly enjoy their flatbreads which rotate seasonally. 180 Estate Winery also offers a unique S’mores charcutiere board which provides you with everything to have your own mini campfire s’mores experience at your own table!

Hours: Tuesday – Sunday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

10. Harbour Estates Winery

Harbour Estates Winery is located in quiet Jordan Station and is surrounded by beautiful vineyards. This family-owned winery has a seasonal patio offering tasty bites to pair with your wine. From burgers to charcuterie boards, sandwiches and salads, there’s a great offering of food here to enhance your winery experience. There are quite a few different varieties of wine available (including icewine) but if you’d prefer cider, they have that too!

After dining, you can take a leisurely stroll through the vineyards. There is signage that guides you along the way and provides insight to their vineyards, winemaking, birds in the area, as well as local history and information about the stunning Carolinian forest that you’ll find along the escarpment.

11. Honsberger Estates Winery

Honsberger Estates Winery is a charming family-owned winery in the heart of Lincoln with a restaurant that’s perfect for a relaxing day out in the vineyard. Their restaurant is best known for their wood-oven pizzas and offers stunning patio seating and gorgeous indoor dining. 

Their menu rotates quite frequently since they utilize ingredients that are in season, but you’ll find salads, shareables, burgers, and pastas on offer! Sunday has its own brunch menu available.

Hours: May – October (outdoor patio) November – April (Small Barn Restaurant) Thursday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, Fridays 11:00 am, – 3:00 pm, Saturdays 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, Sundays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (brunch).

Honsberger is the only place I don’t have updated photos for – I will try to update as soon as possible (and gives me a good excuse to go back!)

12. Creekside Estate Winery

Creekside Estate Winery is right on the edge of Jordan bordering St. Catharines, and offers a beautiful dining experience during the summer months at its on-site restaurant, The Deck.

This covered patio has an intimate vibe which is nestled amongst the trees. Creekside is best known for its Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah, but all of their wines are great! We always opt for sparkling wines and their Backyard Block Bubbly pairs perfectly with just about everything on their food menu!

There are also plenty of vegetarian items available on the menu for those looking for a veggie option. And, if wine isn’t your thing, they offer their Rood Apple Cider too (which my husband loves).

Dogs are welcome on The Deck, too!

13. Calamus Estate Winery

I couldn’t end this list without mentioning Calamus Estate Winery and their restaurant! Located behind Ball’s Falls Conservation Area (one of my favourite places for a waterfall hike!), Calamus operates the Bistro Patio seasonally during warmer weather. Sit in their beautiful barn or their rooftop patio overlooking the vineyard.

They’re infamous for serving up amazing wood-fired pizza and charcuterie. Plus, they have an awesome deal of pizza and a bottle of wine for $39 – where else can you dine (and drink) with that price around here?

Navigating Niagara tip: Calamus is one of the few wineries around here that offer free tastings! If you want to try some before you dine so you know what to order with your lunch, I recommend doing so! Premium wines excluded, but you can get the $25 tasting fee reimbursed with a purchase of two bottles.

Navigating Niagara Tip: It goes without saying, but it’s a good idea to make reservations well in advance, especially during peak tourist season in the summer months or over holidays, to ensure you get a table with the best view. Also – if you are a Niagara resident, you can ask for the tourist tax to be removed from your bill. They won’t always do it, but it’s certainly worth asking!

1. Skylon Tower

Perched 775 feet above the Falls, the Skylon Tower’s Revolving Dining Room offers an unparalleled 360-degree view as it slowly rotates during your meal. Enjoy your meal while taking in the panoramic scenery, which includes both the American and Horseshoe Falls. This is a must-visit for a truly memorable dining experience and is a great post to come to for anniversaries, special occasions, or even popping the question! 

You can enjoy the views for lunch or dinner, and with a kid’s menu, gluten-free options, vegetarian and vegan options, there’s something to suit all palates. If dining early is your thing (because sometimes it pays to do so!) you can find a 3-course early bird menu for $55/adult.

The Skylon Tower is one of my favourite spots to see the fireworks in Niagara Falls too, and your ride to the top is included in your dinner reservation. Don’t forget to check out the viewing platform after dinner!

2. Table Rock House Restaurant

Located right at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, Table Rock House Restaurant offers one of the closest dining experiences to the Falls. The menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients, and you can expect a Canadian-inspired culinary experience.

Open for lunch and dinner, there’s plenty of options to suit everyone. Dinner offers the chance to choose from a pre-fixe menu or order a la carte. There’s a great drinks menu featuring local craft beer, wine, and cocktails!

The view is especially spectacular during the evening when the Falls are illuminated. If you visit during the Winter Festival of Lights, the Table Rock House is one of the stops on the Hot Chocolate Trail. Cozy up with a table facing the illuminated falls and sip your hot chocolate to warm up after getting up close to the Falls.

It’s a convenient spot to dine at after checking out some of the activities in Niagara Falls, like Journey Behind the Falls which is located at Table Rock House.

3. Watermark Fallsview Dining

Watermark Fallsview Restaurant, located on the 33rd floor of the Hilton Niagara Falls, offers a pre-fixe fine dining experience with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing both the American and Horseshoe Falls. It’s actually been voted the best restaurant in Niagara with a scenic view!

The setting here is refined and elegant, plus there’s live entertainment every evening, making it a top choice for romantic dinners or special occasions!

Early seating from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm has a special 3-course meal for $59/adult. If you’re dining on a Thursday, there’s a special date night price for a three-course meal and a bottle of wine for $149/couple.

If you’re seeing a show at OLG, bring your tickets and save $10/guest on your bill. As an added bonus, you get 3 hours complimentary parking at the Hilton when you dine here. Tell the parking attendant when you arrive you’ll be dining there, but save your receipt just in case!

4. Queen Victoria Place Restaurant

This historic Queen Victoria Place Restaurant is situated within Queen Victoria Park and offers a scenic view of the Falls. It’s central to the Niagara Falls activities and is walking distance to Clifton Hill, the hotel zone, and Table Rock Centre. 

While it’s open seasonally, it’s an awesome spot to come and relax with great views. Choose to dine indoors, or on their outdoor covered terrace which overlooks the American and Horseshoe Falls.

The outdoor patio is perfect for a summer meal with a direct view of the Falls.

P.s. There is parking here, but it’s very limited, unless you arrive really early in the morning. If you have a Niagara Parks Parking Pass, you can park here for free.

5. Prime Steakhouse Niagara Falls

Prime Steakhouse is the top-rated restaurant in Niagara Falls on Tripadvisor, and it’s not hard to understand why! With prime cuts of meat, great service, and amazing views of Niagara Falls, Prime Steakhouse offers a luxurious dining experience like no other. 

Located on the 10th floor of the Crowne Plaza, the restaurant provides stunning views of the American and Horseshoe Falls with its floor-to-ceiling windows, hand-crafted cocktails, and local (and international) wine. 

Finish the night off by trying your luck at Casino Niagara afterwards (you don’t even have to leave the building!) or have fun on Clifton Hill; many of the attractions are open until 2:00 am!

6. STK Steakhouse

Formerly the Keg Fallsview, STK Steakhouse offers a relaxed yet upscale dining experience with fantastic views of the Falls. Located on the 9th floor of the Embassy Suites, STK Steakhouse offers a wide variety of high-quality cuts of steak, and seafood dishes. It’s also a great spot to enjoy the nightly Falls illumination. 

I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the service we had here. We came in December during the Winter Festival of Lights and the Falls were lit up beautifully at night. 

If you don’t get a seat right next to the window, don’t fret – there is tiered seating, so there is plenty of opportunity for viewing the Falls!

7. Milestones on the Falls

Milestones on the Falls offers a trendy dining experience with a view. Located at Marriott on the Falls hotel, the restaurant directly faces the Horseshoe Falls. 

You’ll find a diverse menu with enough options for everyone, including the kids. There are plenty of plant-based options too, which can sometimes be hard to find at more upscale restaurants. Or, come on Date Night on Wednesday nights and dine for $75/couple!

8. Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant

Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. It’s been rated the #1 Italian Restaurant in Niagara Falls on TripAdvisor and one of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants on OpenTable, so it’s definitely worth checking out! 

The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows provide a stunning view of both the American and Horseshoe Falls. The menu has a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and is inspired by Chef Massimo Capra – one of Canada’s most prominent chefs. 

You can even book culinary experiences with him, where your night includes a cocktail reception and canapes with Massimo himself, a 5-course dinner, and a nights’ stay!

Choose from a prix-fixe menu daily from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, or select from a variety of Italian dishes and dessert, plus local and Italian wine choices. 

You’ll find Massimo’s on the Fallsview Dining Level at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel and it won’t disappoint with its direct views of Niagara Falls.

9. Sky Fallsview Steakhouse

Located on the 26th floor of the Tower Hotel, the Sky Fallsview Steakhouse combines fine dining with a breathtaking view of the Falls. You’ll find a sophisticated menu featuring premium steaks and seafood. The view of the Horseshoe Falls is simply unbeatable. 

It’s not as frequented as some other restaurants in Niagara Falls with views, making this more of a hidden gem. Plus, its proximity to the Falls makes it a prime spot for seeing the Falls illumination at night, and the fireworks!

10. 21 Club Steak and Seafood 

If you love wine, great views, and an upscale dining experience, add 21 Club Steak and Seafood to your list! With over 700 local and international wines available to choose from and sommeliers always available, there’s a perfect wine pairing no matter which menu items you choose from (and there’s a lot!).

The elegant setting is complemented by stunning views of the Falls, which is best seen during the winter when the trees have dropped their leaves. Be sure to book early to get a window-side table. 

Since this restaurant is located within Fallsview Casino, diners must be 19+ to enter.

11. Morton’s Grille Niagara Falls

Morton’s Grille Niagara Falls offers a more relaxed take on the classic steakhouse experience, where you can get the amazing views of Niagara Falls in what they call casual elegance. 

Located at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, the restaurant provides stunning views of the Falls along with a menu that features a mix of steakhouse classics and comfort food. You’ll find a ton of cocktails and spirits along with local craft beers. 

Navigating Niagara Tip: Visit during Power Hour and save money on Sundays – Fridays from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm for discounted drinks and bites at the bar!

Dining with Unforgettable Views in Niagara Falls

Whether you’re a foodie, a romantic, or simply looking for a unique experience, Niagara Falls has plenty of restaurants that offer stunning views of the falls. The only decision you’ll have to make is which one to visit!

For me, the most memorable restaurant to dine at in Niagara Falls has to be the Skylon Tower, especially if you’ve never been before. The added bonus of getting up to the viewing platform is even better! You’ll see a view of Niagara Falls most others don’t get to see.
